Where Have All The Blogs Gone?

June 23, 2009

Noticed today that Levi’s The Real Pyramid Scheme web site just went dark. On the Amway side, it joins the Easy Street blog (down for several months now) and Speaking of Amway (down for the past week or more) as pro-Amway sites that are no longer accessible. On the MonaVie front, there’s Black Diamond Executives, which hasn’t been updated since the end of 2008.

What does this mean? Have these blog owners quit the business or just quit the blogging world to focus on their businesses?

Maybe blogs are becoming passé; people seem to be turning their attention to Facebook and Twitter to get the word out about MonaVie and Amway1.

Update: Looks like Levi opened up a new blog at whyasecondincome.blogspot.com/.

1 If you can get through all of the Twitter-spam from users like MonavieMoney and BuyMonaVieGel. Seriously guys, you’re not exactly doing your business any good with your spam tweets!

Maybe they a bitter and they failed?

Not enough intestinal fortitude to build the business?

    Are they now “broke”? LOL

I am surprised that “Speaking of Amway” has gone dark, although it was full of some of the most stupid rhetoric ever espoused about Amway; something not generally worth reading to begin with.

Levi is still here. He just moved:

Thanks, Rocket! I didn’t think that Levi would leave us so quickly. I will update my bookmarks.

Chuck, author of “Speaking of Amway”, said months ago he was pretty much ceasing with the blogging because it was distracting too much from actually building a business. Given he wasn’t running the site any more he probably just neglected (deliberately or otherwise) to the pay the bill.

As an aside, I find it curious that you comment on and link to blogs by newbie IBOs, but fail to mention at all a long standing blog by one of the biggest Crown Ambassadors in the world? or public podcasts with brief interviews with all sorts of “higher pins”

Do those types of sites just not get across the perspective you want people to have?

    ibofb,

I am curious if you will extend the same courtesy to opposing websites.

Can we assume by your comment that TTAA and AT will soon provide links to Webraw, Amthrax and Joecool’s blogs?

Or do those websites not get across the perspective you want people to have?

As you are well aware, much of my focus on this blog is directed towards the North American market. Crowns Eva and Peter, along with N21, have more of an international focus. Their website is basically a diary of all the places they go; there is very little business information being shared. Furthermore, your N21 public podcast website only started in April, 2009. Focusing on the new IBO is important, because they are the ones at the end of the telephone game. The new ones are often the most impressionable and naive; being downstream, they are the most vulnerable to having incorrect information and perspective fed to them.

Typical IBOFB spin. Why is Amthrax obligated to link to the blogs of bigger pins? And as Amthrax has said, these blogs provide little information About Amway. It’s more about showing off wealth and material stuff. Newbie IBOs and prospects benefit far more by blogs like this one or Joecool’s blog.

Plus, other than the obvious, I’m not aware of any critic censoring the comments or asking people not to contribute to discussions.

    IBOFB does.

I also haven’t seen any links to other Amway perspectives on his site.

    What a hypocrite.

IBOFB is a hypocrite. He shamelessly lies all over the internet. He is also famous for making up fake screen names to help pimp his cause. He doesn’t allow opposing views on his website because ususally, opposing views are the truth. Truth is something that doesn’t help his cause.

    IBOFB,

Can you name any North American diamond or above that has open, honest discussion in a website, blog, or forum?

    If not then hush, puppy.

    Ssshhhhhhh.

Maybe Mr. IBOFB can start a Founder’s 3% blog and show us the lifestyle those $6.00 monthly checks brings!

Or maybe the cost of the blog would outstrip revenue……

Or IBOFB desposits his $6.00 in the bank and watches that residual 6 cents a year roll in?

I really like this site, much more informative and creative than others. I am dissapointed I did not know earlier since I would have told you of my switch to whyasecondincome. I saw that therealpyramidscheme did not tell what I wanted to say and really was not my type of point.
