Brig and Lita Hart Robbed Week Before Salt Lake City Regional

June 24, 2009

Brig and Lita Hart, a week after getting robbed

The week before the MonaVie Salt Lake City Regional, the home of Crown Black Diamonds Brig and Lita Hart was robbed. Three masked men bound and tied Lita Hart as they stole guns, jewelry, collectables and cash. Furthermore, Lita was the only person at home at the time. Police and residents think that the robbery was well-planned and organized.

There’s a dangerous flip side to showing off the enormous wealth possible with having a large System and product business, and this example may be evidence of it. Flaunt the wealth, and might you leave yourself open to crime like this? Was it a random event? Were the Harts targeted because of their notoriety and affiliation with Amway and MonaVie?

Amthrax, that is an interesting perspective, that flaunting wealth could make you a target for crime. It’s unfortunate that they got robbed, but your post is food for thought, for sure.

They’re probably pulling an insurance scam. If not, then I’d chalk it up to karmic revenege.

Wow…all kinds of possibilities come to mind.

Certainly it is worth considering the danger one puts oneself and one’s family in by being so public about material possessions and achievements.

From the types of comments and online threats I have personally seen from people claiming to be MonaVie distributors, one could also wonder if the Harts were targeted by disgruntled (ex)downline. There seems to be more than a handful of shady characters willing to do about anything to achieve their “dreams”.

Of course, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, and am glad to hear that Lita is alright. She is fortunate in this case, if the details of the story are accurate.

Even insinuating that they brought this on themselves is disgusting. Kinda like saying a girl wearing a short skirt brought on the rape because she was flaunting it. Get a life dude!

Well, we can both agree and hope that they catch the perpetrators and discover the true reason for the criminal act.

Noone is blaming the victim, but certainly, someone can put themselves at peril such as flashing a wad of cash walking thru a slum part of town at nite. It is still wrong for someone to rob the person with the cash, but certainly, you can avoid putting yuorself in that position.

I bet the robbers were high on EMV. Were any empty cans found at the crime scene? It’s sad to think for all the material possessions accumulated, no one thought about man’s best friend. Could you imagine the headlines and the potential marketing if they had a guard dog named “Mona”? Officers reported the intruders were forced to submission by the owners dog “Mona”. The house cat “Vie” however had little to do with the home invasion as she was busy in the litter box squeezing out mysterious purple turds. … Mr. Insensitive.

It shows how great Lita hart is . I saw her on stage a few days later as if nothing happen . The Harts keep on rolling on, upwards . That is why they are now doubles crown. We need people like them .
