How Long Before Reco and Shanee McDaniel Become Diamonds In MonaVie?

August 28, 2009

9/13/2009 Update: Guess they won’t be Diamonds after all. Looks like Reco and Shanee McDaniel have left MonaVie to run their own MLM called Elite Profit Network. What they are selling is the Elite Body Shaper, which helps you reduce your dress size. I guess they figured that running the product business, along with the tools business is better than just being a distributor.

Saw this on MLM The Whole Truth web site. On May 17, 2009, top distributors Reco and Shanee McDaniel broke with the MLM Lightyear Wireless to join MonaVie. Not only that, they are suing Lightyear Wireless for engaging in a classic pyramid scheme (read the lawsuit here). They claim that the signup fees and tools are used primarily to pay off the top distributors in an endless chain scenario. This is similar to many fly-by-night pyramid schemes and even so-called “legitimate” ones like ACN (a.k.a. the one Donald Trump promotes).

Of course, MonaVie doesn’t do any of that. The company currently doesn’t have enrollment fees (nor renewal fees) as part of the MonaVie Economic Stimulus Plan. They proudly proclaim they return 50% of GV (Gross Volume?) back as bonus to distributors. So, if you’re at the bottom of the pyramid, for every $34 you pay for a bottle, $17 is being used to pay other people up the chain. MonaVie has to make money from every bottle, so tack off another 50% from $17 and you’re left with a bottle of juice that might cost $8.50. Personally, I think it’s a lot less than that. The point is that most people aren’t going to see much of that $17/bottle going back into their wallets.

Now that they are at MonaVie, I want to ask readers to guess how quickly Reco and Shanee will be recognized as new Diamonds in MonaVie’s Media Center web site. Another month? Two weeks? Two months? I’m guessing it’ll be a month and a half before their photo graces the media center site. But who really knows, maybe it will be this weekend at the Vancouver Regional?

This has been my point about other MLM defectors. I assume these folks simply brought their groups over to MV.

They were in light year wireless?

What gives them the expertise to be able to teach their group how to sell overpriced berry juice?

Ahhh, I see your attention was caught by the same thing that caught mine.
I say 8 weeks. Just for fun. But the Vancouver regional is sure a possibility!

He is listed in the monavie media center as being a star 100 as of April 18, 2009.

Some info on Reco McDaniel, as available online:

Comment section in the following link is the most helpful part of said link.
I will copy and paste the part that confirms what we already suspected, which is that the McDaniels have taken many of their “team” (named C.O.D.E.R.E.D) with them into the MonaVie mlm.

“I am glad CODERED has moved forward with a different company, it has brought use closer together as a unit and a TEAM we have bonded so much. Our new Venture with MonaVie is so exciting. And for those of you that know about MonaVie its people helping people business. I can not wait to see what Reco comes up with, for us next. Because with MonaVie he can supply his team with the supply’s that we want and also need with now problems. With MonaVie one of his very very important goals will be met, and that’s to create 100 millionaires by 2016.”

How long until this system is yet another “tools system” MonaVie distributors can spend their money on?

Another big pin “jumps ship” to MV – take a drink!

    It’s the MonaVie drinking game!!!

Some of those videos are generic enough that Reco could be advertising anything… Lightyear Wireless or MonaVie. He doesn’t have to change a thing. Isn’t running a Tools System wonderful?

I said the same thing about ‘Quixtar”. If Amway went to the internet, why did the old diamonds like Britt have the ability to teach an internet based business when the internet did nto exist when he started in Amway.

Likewise, how do these other defectors have the ability to teaach about Mona Vie?

If the teaching is so generic that is could apply anywhere, then IBOs can get their teaching from other sources instead of their “upline” leaders.

Apparently, McDaniel has already left Mona Vie and is starting some deal called EPN (Elite Profit Network) where they sell body shapers, “Elite Body Shapers.” Wow, only a few months. Sounds like a fantastic “leader” to me. Mona Vie is a proven company with many success stories. Why couldn’t he build there? Hmmmm. Sounds like he’s not much of a leader after all.

Anyone hear why he left after such a short time? I wonder if he is suing Mona Vie too? Was he not allowed to solicit all their reps for his “training and coaching?”

Thanks for the info. I also found this link on the Internet regarding the McDaniel’s departure from MonaVie:

Well, just goes to show. “Those who can’t do, Teach!” I feel sorry for all those that follow someone like that. I bet Lightyear was very happy to see him go. Mona Vie is MUCH better off, too.

FYI, Reco left Mona Vie not because he had an issue with the company. He literally left not to become a distributor with another company either. He has started his own MLM company. Wouldn’t you leave for that reason too? lol

Daniel, you are very misinformed. Reco ABSOLUTELY left Lightyear and joined Mona Vie. He held a conference call with his team and pitched the whole plan. He even had his “mentor” on the call, who was joining Mona Vie with him. If you want the truth, just visit his old Lightyear website, which he changed to sell Mona Vie: http://yourwirelessriches.com/

I don’t know where you heard he never joined Mona Vie, but that is absolutely FALSE. He only started the Girdle business after he didn’t make any money in Mona Vie.

Oh and FYI, the bogus lawsuit he filed against Lightyear was thrown out – DISMISSED – by the judge.

Reco is definitely not the leader you think he is.

    Good luck in your business.

Mr.McDaniel has reached goals that every homebased business dreams of. Jealousy is flowing all over this page.
