MonaVie Does Not Want You To Read Or Link To Negative Websites

July 6, 2011

Was forwarded an email from MonaVie Corporate to distributors about Online Reputation Management. Looks like MonaVie is encouraging its members to link only to positive MonaVie websites instead of sites like this blog, JuiceScam, or LazyMan’s MonaVie Scam page.

Dallin Larsen once said that preventing his distributors from saying outlandish claims about MonaVie is like herding cats. If that’s still the case, this email will not stop distributors and prospects from searching for the “negative” about MonaVie. For someone thinking about starting a business, you had better get as much information as possible. This includes both the good and the bad. If all you see is one point of view — a one-sided point of view in the case of MonaVie’s “positive” websites — you’re shortchanging yourself.

My recommendation? Not only mention this website, but link to it in your blog posts and comments on the web!

One of the biggest challenges of a company as big as MonaVie is managing what people say about it online. MonaVie has one great advantage over other companies in that we have countless distributors that wish to support the company and help manage the company’s online image. If you’d like to know how you can help promote MonaVie’s good reputation online, then keep reading!

Why Reputation Management?
All successful companies attract opposition. Online reputation management is the most effective way to combat this negativity. Online Reputation Management consists of managing what people see on the Internet when they are researching the company.

MonaVie’s corporate team is very active in managing our online reputation. Over the last several months, we’ve seen great improvements on the search results pages by promoting some of MonaVie’s corporate websites, which, in turn, push down negative websites. When searching for “MonaVie” on search engines, the first several pages are filled with MonaVie product microsites, social networks, and other corporate websites.

Why We Need Your Help
MonaVie Corporate can do a lot of the Online Reputation Management, but Google looks to see what the masses are saying about a company, not just Corporate. As a MonaVie distributor you are in a unique position to increase the positive content that searchers will find online because you are seen by Google as a third party, and not part of MonaVie Corporate. With the ongoing reputation management efforts of MonaVie Corporate and our amazing distributors, we can be even more successful in managing our online reputation.

How You Can Help
One of the many factors that Google uses to determine which websites should rank in the top positions is the popularity of a website. To determine popularity of a website, they look to see how many people link to it. Google treats a link from one site to another as a vote. The more votes you get, the better.

If you have a website, a blog, participate in forums or other people’s blogs, link to official MonaVie websites and social profiles when you have the opportunity.

For example, if you are writing a post in a forum talking about how you love MonaVie Pulse, make sure to link the words “MonaVie Pulse” to the Pulse microsite (

Here is a list of official MonaVie websites and social profiles that you can link to:

[… cut out links for brevity …]

What NOT to Do
If you link to any negative websites, take down the link. You may have inadvertently linked to a negative site on your website or blog when discussing their website. Just as links will help us promote positive MonaVie sites, they will also help negative sites rank better.

If you see a negative website in the search engine results, don’t click on it. If lots of people are clicking on a negative website on the search engine results page, Google may rank it higher because it sees that so many people are clicking on it.

Avoid visiting or commenting on negative sites. If the negative sites are receiving a lot of traffic and comments from visitors, search engines will think it is a popular site and rank it in the top positions.

With your help, we can make sure MonaVie is well represented online when perspective customers, distributors, or anyone else researches the company.

Amthrax and Company…we are getting to them!

They truly make me sick with trying to control EVERYTHING. They are not even allowing the public to make a balanced and well researched decision before becoming involved with their scam. Any company that had a solid reputation would absolutely not fear a little negative press on the internet. The fact that they are trying to divert the public’s attention from these sights shows they are afraid that the public is getting the truth, not lies, as MonaVie Corporate seems to imply.

What MV Corporate also doesn\t GET is that people seek out these sites because they “have a friend” or go to a meeting, and there are red flags for them…something they just don’t trust. These people intuitively KNOW that there is something wrong with MonaVie and they look for us, not the other way around.

That said, the gloves are OFF MonaVie. I am telling everyone I know about these sites and telling them to visit them OFTEN. Geez.

You are such a pathetic excuse for a company (aka pyramid scheme/scam) MonaVie and THAT is why you are failing and your distributors are broke, not because of websites. We just tell people what they already know.

I just can’t resist pointing out that in the last paragraph of MV’s memo is a grammatical error. It should read prospective customers not perspective. You’d think a multi-million dollar co. could at least get their verbage correct. Minor to some, more important to others…

Ha! I didn’t even NOTICE that IQ! YOu are right though, I must say, if I see errors like that in ANY marketing material for any company, I think that the company is a sham or extremely unprofessional and I don’t even consider doing business with them.

I also want to add…when I was “with” MonaVie, I was told to do my “due diligence” in researching the company before deciding to “join”. They invited me to go onto the internet and seek out information. Ha! I guess that has gone by they wayside. What do they say to “prospective” clients now…wait a couple of months until we can manipulate the GOOGLE sites in our favor? So honorable. Seriously, I used to think that Larsen & Hart had a modicum of business and marketing sense as they had managed to lure people in in the past, but now I think they are bumbling idiots.

Once again it seems like MonaVie is Trying to Suppress the Truth. I’m going to add this to the list of information.

It’s a shame that a company can’t address criticism head on. I would be willing to change my article and my sites if they were willing to engage in any constructive public dialog.

Reputation management? What the hell is this? I have never heard this term before today.

Your reputation is good or bad…I dont get you you manage it.

Sounds like pure and simple manipualti0on to me. And besides we live ina free country, people are free to make up thier minds on whether Monavie/TEAm is good or bad. Sound sliek the MV- TEAM people cannot handle criticism very well.

I swear I am hearing things in TEAM culture I do not hear outside thier bubble.

So what happens if TEAMbots dont comply with this? What can TEAM do to you?

Man, that sounds like something right out of 1984. They are actually admitting that they are engaged in a project to rig Google so that their propaganda comes first, but make it sound like its simply them vs. negativity.

I especially like the line “All successful companies attract opposition”. All successful con-artists attract opposition too.

As utterly ridiculous it is that Monavie are attempting such blatant mass manipulation, there’s no doubt in my mind that there are distributors who are going to take such advice. As we all know, these people are manipulated, brainshwashed and conditioned from the onset to view outside information or any critical thinking as being negative.

The whole thing just reeks of desperation and the fact that they have had to stoop to this new low level most definitely proves the (much deserved) publicity they’re getting through sites such as this is making an impact.

What I want to know..If TEAM is such a scam, then why does it work. I am sick of reading these post saying its a pyramid. I work for one. I work at Red Lobster..I am a sales manager there. There is NO way I can make more money then MY manager by the end of next year. That, to me, is a scam. Look guys, Bill Gates doesn’t need a broke person to invest in him anymore, the guy from Facebook doesn’t need a broke dude to invest in him anymore…and eventually TEAM won’t need them anymore. If it will get me out of my job in 2-5 years, that is a scam I would proudly be apart of!

  12. July 20, 2011 11:13 pm

    Go Team Go –

    Good luck with that.

Do me a solid and check back in 2-5 years from now and let me know how much money you lost.

    Go get em’ tiger!

Aussie, I completely agree with you. Desperate times call for Desperate measures. Someone mentioned that Scientology tried the same tactic some years ago as there were so many negative sites popping up. You can smell the fear from MonaVie Corporate.

Go Team Go. The old “your job is a pyramid” is trick number 341 in the “MLM Scam Handbook” (4th edition). Go to the Juice Scam site and there is an article on it and this explains how your job is NOT a pyramid and theTEAM and MONAVIE “businesses” are.

Please don’t quit your job while you go through this craziness, you will be grateful you didn’t in a few years.

Go Team Go states “If TEAM is such a scam, then why does it work.”

And who precisely is it working for – aside from TEAM? Forbes indicates that less than 1% of TEAM members make any money – they accurately describe the tool business as the pyramid within the pyramid. Monavie’s IDS confirms fewer than 1% of the sales force are making money – or more importantly, 99% are losing. What evidence do you have to suggest otherwise?

Go Team Go states “I am sick of reading these post saying its a pyramid. I work for one.”

NOT by your most vivid imagination, fool! Is the salary and earnings of any employee in your organisation derived as a direct result of the investments and purchases made by the lower ranked employees? Has anyone ranked lower than the CEO, the Secretary or even yourself lost in order for you to have gained? Does your company generate revenue as direct result of the purchases and investments of it’s own sales force or is the revenue from bona-fide customers not associated with the company?????

I’m sick of having the uneducate such as yourself attempt to educate us but here are some facts which are clearly escaping your attention…

Pyramid schemes are a fraudulent business model (hence why they’re illegal) where the revenue is primarily derived from recruiting participants into the scheme rather than from the sales of goods and services to. This internal transfer of monies resulting in an internal transfer of monies from later participants to earlier ones resulting in a system that leaves in the vicinity of 99% of the participants at the bottom where no profits are able to be derived.

Your ability to succeed in a pyramid scam such as TEAM/Monavie depends on your ability to recruit other participants into the scheme (or more accurately, defraud people into investing into the scheme) and should you make any money, it will be straight off the backs of those who you have recruited and of which 99% will always be losing (not through a lack of effort, but simply based on their position in the pyramid).

If you believe you’re anything but one of the 99% who are doomed to lose, you’re not only ignorant but deluded also. This isn’t a 2 – 5 year financial freedom plan – this a 2 – 5 year maximize your losses plan!!!

Go Team Go states “There is NO way I can make more money then MY manager by the end of next year.”

And why would you expect to anyway taking into consideration that in the real world people are paid based on factors which include education/training/work experience/level of responsibility and NOT their ability to recruit.

Given your obvious deficits in business sense and ability to identify a scam as opposed to a genuine opportunity, I’d say you have no business being a manager and that you’re being paid just what you’re entitled to be paid.

I agree Johnthebaptist..I have been reading quite a bit on Scientology and the stories of those who have escaped..marriages destroyed, abuse, child labor and abuse and seperation from their parents..they even have what someone called a ‘concentration camp for those who don’t obey..brainwashing etc.. oh boy… Although the team isn’t this sophisticated they have same philosphy and ideology. I remember when Orrin read the book Dyanetics by L. Ron Hubbard and how ‘excited’ he was! You could see his eyes were glassed over with really disturbing.

In my opinion.. this is the category Orrin belongs…..It is a split between L.Ron Hubbard, Hitler, Bernie Madoff and the Mafia. I watched a video by L. Ron Hubbard’s own grandson..very dramatic…he shares what a delusional kook.. he was and how damaging his grandfather was and still is on the masses.. even after he is death. They too are being exsposed but the $$$ keeps buying them time. I also heard a tape played in court by an ex-scientologist… was a downright spooky recording about how bad and evil the ‘education’ is in America!
