If A Critical Comment About LIFE TEAM Is On The Internet, Does TEAM Know About It?

December 6, 2011

The philosophical question, “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” is an apt one for critical LIFE TEAM websites.

LIFE TEAM members are taught to avoid going to “negative” sites on the Internet. They are told that sites like these make up the “bathroom walls of the Internet” and are filled with negative losers who couldn’t build the business.

Well, we know for a fact that LIFE TEAM members are indeed reading this website. Already, we’ve forced Orrin Woodward to talk (if only obliquely) about his days as the anonymous blogger Qrush, made Policy Council Member George Guzzardo publicly discuss his strategic real-estate default, and brought back free admission for first-time attendees to tonight’s Leadership Open in Michigan.

Here’s another one. TEAM Policy Council member Dan Hawkins has a misspelling in his latest post praising Orrin Woodward (bold emphasis mine):

I just found a couple of great quotes from Orrin Woodard on a website I follow! Enjoy.

Now, I understand that LIFE TEAM leaders are not full-time writers — nor are they trained financial planners, doctors, family counselors, pastors, or personal trainers — but they could at least get the names of their leaders spelled correctly.

Here’s a screenshot:

It’s been three days from the initial publishing of Hawkins’ post (December 3), and apparently no one from the LIFE TEAM has alerted him of the misspelling. Let’s see how long it takes before it is corrected after being mentioned on this website.

The purpose of this post is not to nitpick on their spelling and grammar (since we all make these mistakes), but to see if they would correct this after it is pointed out on this site.

How about this for a critical comment? I quote Orrin from his blog post today. Funny how he spins the supposed disaster that struck. News flash….this was all self induced, Orrin you did this crap to yourself and to your team. Interesting as well how he says that “only a handful of leaders could have handled it” (patting himself on the back). Is that the epitome of arrogance or what?

Why not reword it and say this? I was an idiot and totally screwed up everything which cost a lot of people a lot of money. I think now I am beginning to remove my head from my a$$ and have realized that I am living a lie, and would like to apologize for the years of pillage.

Another question would be how the hell does does ‘cost-per-filed-revenue’ have sucha drastic swing? Did cd replication prices go up 5 times, or did everyone realize what a scam artist he was and quit, leaving the Team upside down?

Once again Orrin spins more lies to make himself (and Rob Hallstrand) look like a hero.

“Disaster struck in late 2007. I have studied the data from the years 2006-2009 extensively, seeking to learn the invaluable leadership lessons that failure teaches. In other words, don’t run from failures; learn from them. And boy, did I ever learn a ton.

There are probably only a handful of leaders in the country that could have handled the ridiculous leadership challenge (lawsuits, leaving our former company, etc) that hit the TEAM late 2007 through 2009, so I am thankful for everyone’s efforts to handle the task. However, when in 2009 the office cost-per-field-revenue was five times higher than previous benchmarks, I realized I needed to act fast or the TEAM would capsize. Many of our field leaders had lost 2/3’s of their income and as the leader of TEAM, both the office and the field, it was ultimately my responsibility to fix it.”

Oh yeah…and how did he fix it? He led the entire organization into one of the worst written and biggest travesties of all time Monavie. Great solution Orrin, wonderful leadership. Jump from the kettle into the fire so that you could position yourself at the top of the pyramid once again. Why not tell the world how you were given a break insert by Ken Porter within his existing team so that you could move your team into ONE single leg and hit Presidential.

Does this clown ever tell the truth about anything?

Truth Seeker…you are so right. the crisis in 2007 was the result of Mr. Woodward’s own reckless decisions. These decisions included starting a competing business with Qstar that he later lied about in court. Disaster struck in 2007 because captain Woodward deliberately drove the SS Team Titanic into an iceburg. He is creative at deflecting any blame by always finding a scape goat to attack. I personally feel this man has no scrupples. He has and will turn on his friends and devour them like a shark. Mr.Woodward should be asked why he went through these lawsuits. He should be asked why 2/3’s of his team were losing their income. The answer is not because of someone else. He was responsible for the whole thing. The real tragedy of this saga is that Mr. Woodward’s loyal worshippers cannot or will not think for themselves. They blindly follow this man. Most of those who read this site know how it will end for most if not all of them. When the blind follow the blind they both fall into a ditch.

They read this site. There is now doubt about it. Just a day or two after mentioning items from the TEAM calendar of events, the TEAM calendar is no longer available to the general public. It is now reserved for those with a TEAM userid/password.

When I saw that, I thought maybe it was a fluke, but nope, it’s still not available, and I talked to a friend. They can see it if they log in. I have visions of a very red faced Orrin with blood pressure soaring, screaming at someone to hide the calendar of events so we can’t point out anything nor can the prospects see for themselves that we speak the truth. They will have to now rely on the word of their sponsor.

BTW, has anyone read the testimonials on the LIFE TEAM website? I just want to point out, that it seems like some of those would be fraudulent. They speak of LIFE TEAM as if it has been in business for more than one month. In one month how much impact can you have on one’s life? And is it valid to have testimonials by the people who do most of the speaking at Tuesday opens and monthly seminars? Isn’t that like Satan’s workers’ saying hell is wonderfully warm all year round? Also, there is a “nurse practitioner” listed, but this individual is only licensed as a registered nurse (her nurse practitioner license is no longer valid).

Amthrax, you meant Dan Hawkins, correct? Or did we find out his real name is Jeff? 😉

Truthseeker – did you catch how he said the cost per field was 5 times higher in 2009? Is that a direct slam to MonaVie. Team members started switching over to MonaVie in Feb & March of 2008. So if the problem was in 2009 – I could be reading this wrong, but my interpretation is that he is claiming the cost of MonaVie product was too high for people in the field so went to work to create the LIFE concept.

Once again, I could be mis-interpreting. But if I were MonaVie or Dallin Larsen, I’d be fairly ticked at the potential insinuation on a public blog directly from Orrin.

We already know they have all been putting down MonaVie behind closed doors. I can’t tell you how many members of TEAM have told me or my downline that Orrin created LIFE to help people make 3-5 times more money than you could ever make with MonaVie and that they wouldn’t be suprised if MonaVie isn’t even mentioned in a few years.

A pc was promoting that Mv money would be like pocket change compared to LIfe, before it was launched. Autoships are being pilfered and volume is dropping dramatically all over team monavie. Why isn’t Dallin doing something unless maybe some special deals are happening behind the scenes?

  8. Brent Hansen permalink
    December 6, 2011 8:28 pm

Thats laughable, pocket change huh? Let’s see….a quick comparison.

If you generate 2 legs with 600 volume each in Monavie you would earn 10% of the weakside or 5% total which would be $60.00.

If you generate 2 legs with 600 volume in LIfe you would earn 20% or $240. In Life however you would have 2 leaders with 600 volume each. Out of your $240 you would have to pay each leader 15% of 600 or $90.00. After you paid them both you would net $60.00.

Wow, pocket change? Impressive…it really is leaps and bounds above Monavie isn’t it? har har har…..

I interpreted ‘field costs’ as being the overhead that it took to make Team function. He talks about having to make cuts in the amount of staff working at the Team office to save on operating expenses.

My first inclination was to assume that there was such a rapid decrease in tools being sold (because people figured the game out) that Team was no longer profitable. Meaning their operating expense exceeded gross revenues. That would help explain the team raiding and wacky profit sharing checks. Money was being allocated to the people they wanted to keep around, and hanging the rest out to dry.

I could be wrong, but that is how I understood his smarmy post.

    [Editor’s note: correction for clarity]

  10. December 6, 2011 8:38 pm

@1MillionLIfES – I’ve been using the TEAM’s calendar of events for years now. Thanks for letting me know that they finally placed it behind password protection.

Yes, you’re right, I was referring to Dan Hawkins. Post has been corrected.

  11. December 6, 2011 8:46 pm

For me, the most fascinating thing that Orrin wrote in his post was, “I am sure this brought hardship to many former employees…” Doesn’t this sentence imply that he doesn’t really know (or care)? Now that LIFE is supposedly going gangbusters, is he (or Rob) going to give them back their jobs? Clearly, there’s more to this than he writes, and I’d be very interested having former TEAM employees participate here.

@No Team For Me – I do wonder what MonaVie thinks about all of this. Orrin does seem to be throwing them under the bus too. Perhaps we won’t see Orrin Woodward and TEAM as part of MonaVie’s new MVP Training Program come 2012?

Does anyone know when the new Team website was finished? I’m sure there had to be a ton of expenses that went into that and this would have clearly raised the cost per field. I thought that was the whole reason that Robert Dickie (former CEO) stayed around as long as he did. It’s sad that Orrin now conveniently indirectly throws him under the bus each time he talks about Rob Hallstrand.

I heard that Robert Dickie is the president of Crown Financial Ministries now…seems like an interesting choice if his “leadership lid” wasn’t high enough…more lies by Orrin

Used to be all in- They had a website for Years before this, but went to direct fullfillment maybe in 06/07. O6/07 is when Team had it’s largest growth across the board. Everyone loved xs energy drinks, but the tools paid the most money past platnum. Team was booming. I really believe from meetings I was in and things I saw that Quixtar wasn’t too happy with the way he was running his training company, and possibly because we made more from the tools, and I believe there were not going to acccredit their system. In other words he wouldn’t be authorized anymore to sell Team tools. That is the real reason he left and sued them. No more tool money would be coming his way.
As far as losing money? I would say around 95% of our team stayed in and kept buying all the crap, going to seminars through getting into MV in 08, so who is he trying to kid?He used the profit sharers money to pay for the lawsuits, that is what I think. Even when he said he wasn’t going to!

Bob Dickie made the Team office and service AMAZING! He took the bulk of tool moving work off of the Profit sharers in the field. No more passing tools, seperating, collecting etc. We no longer had to distribute the tools to our downlines, now it was delivered to their doors and collected from the Team. This helped take the financial and time losses the leaders experienced and put it back on the Team to collect and manage. It gave us more time to build our business instead doing paperwork etc. When Bobbie was in he was THE MAN according to Orrin, and now he is trying to discredit Bobbie.
What Orrin doesn’t say or what he implies in his messages is what he is really trying to say, the maipulating jerk!

It is about information control, release just enough to make it look like the world is changing because of their leadership… when no one can verify the hyped up BS, then it can be a free for all and they can say whatever ‘sounds’ good.

Perhaps they should stop ‘preaching’ transparency…or at least learn the meaning everyone knows the game…because their spewed rhetoric and hype are polar opposite of what we would be able to figure out if they really were transparent. If we had the ‘real’ numbers and could verify what they say…. the whole story…I beleive it would blow up in their face.

I have seen where he said 4000 people added, but is not ‘sign-ups’ to the lief in one month, but what is the rest of the story? More likely these people were already a part of team and they just added the ago series, which used to be called ERM and was apart to their already subscribtion of Standing order tape series. They have seperated the TEAM cd’s & LIEF cd’s but it is all the same of what they used to offer under the TEAM. It is just the same ole’ monotonous plagerized leadership team cds making it ‘appear’ they are exploding as they have always been notorious for….hyped up..spinsters.

    Nothing new under the sun.

It is all smoke and mirrors, lies and deception to keep the unsuspecting in the dark. And they think they are noble and changing people’s lives? After reading this site…with in your face people and their testimonies and stories that are proving it hasn’t been a ‘positive’ life changing experience for most of the leaders…quite the contrary!

    What denial!

You guys know who I am…just call me Mom and skip the Mother:

Today, I really tried to get more in-depth with what Dan Hawkins stands for, since he’s got my child in his grip.

Sadly for me, it just doesn’t work (with any of them, really), because just as soon as you think something of true value is happening: boom! There’s

    1) pictures of his extravagant house and lake toys and vehicles (wow! this new home in Whitewater is truly stupendous!!) and/or pix of holiday retreats, living the good life. Um, I guess it’s the “good life” the upper Poohbahs deserve from the hidden factor that a lot of the bucks come from the downline Peons buying recycled materials over and over to support it; and

    2) statements like: those who disagree with them are likely just broke and not to be trusted, etc.

For me, it would be: oh, so much more believeable if, instead: one put, say, one less than the 4th (I think it was) attached garages on this amazing dwelling and a few less rooms in a house fit for the Queen of England (likely saving tens of thousands; house looks like it could house 4 families of 4, at least).

It would have more meaning for me, and encourage a sense of their so-called community if: someone, somewhere less fortunate would benefit. If, instead, (and personally in line with my own life efforts of making a difference in a certain sector): had I happily come across pix and data showing how Dan and his community built a Wisconsin version of say, for example: a last chance ranch for neglected, abused, tortured animals….I may well have walked the miles from my home to congratulate him myself.
