Ebay’s uber-auctions Has Lots of TEAM LIFE Tools For Sale

Ebay’s uber-auctions Has Lots of TEAM LIFE Tools For Sale

Looking for TEAM LIFE tools for pennies on the dollar? Look no further than at uber-auctions’ listings on eBay. Here’s a list of TEAM and MLM tools that he has for sale right now (among various auctions for tailored clothes):

That’s a lot of CDs, DVDs, and books this person is trying to unload! We’re talking hundreds of tools, whose original retail price must have been in the thousands on dollars. Now, here they are for sale on eBay for just pennies on the dollar.

Second, there sure are a lot of TEAM auction listings related to TEAM’s MonaVie affiliation. Given MonaVie is now second fiddle to TEAM, expect to see a lot more people trying to unload their now worthless tools.

Third, now I know that TEAM isn’t exactly LIFE, but some of these tools’ auction titles say LIFE TEAM. Isn’t the sale of LIFE products expressly forbidden by LIFE’s Policies and Procedures?

3.3.5- eBay / Online Auctions

LIFE’s products and services may not be listed on eBay or other online auctions, nor may Members enlist or knowingly allow a third party to sell LIFE products on eBay or other online auctions.

Is the person behind uber-auctions a current member in TEAM and/or LIFE? If so, do the Policy Council members know about this person’s activity on eBay? Will they step in and enforce their own policies?

Update: It’s interesting to note that uber-auctions is based out of Swartz Creek, Michigan, which is 5 miles away from the TEAM headquarters in Flint, MI.

I have a feeling this person could be like me – having quit and spent a ridiculous amount of money on tools that he just wants GONE and OUT of his life. When I quit I had only put in around $1,000, and I wasn’t sure if I would get in trouble for selling them on Ebay or something, so I gave them back to my sponsor (who is also a coworker of mine in real life) and he is paying me back for them a little at a time.

When I quit, I literally just wanted the stuff gone, no matter how much money I lost by giving them away or even throwing it straight in the trash. It made me sick to my stomach to even see the names of OW and CB on anything in my possession.

The only things I kept were Personality Plus and 5 Love Languages.

@Katie – uber-auctions has been selling TEAM tools for several years now, so I don’t think that he’s quit recently. My suspicion is that he’s selling old tools that have been “re-branded” or “refreshed” as a way to get rid of the stock in the TEAM warehouse.

Very interesting. I went on ebay and i noticed if you click on one of those auctions, many of them say they have 10 blocks of such quantities available, ie 10 blocks of 10 books each, the one with 50 cd’s 4 DVDs 13 books says quantity available 5, the one with 100 cd’s 13 dvd’s says quantity available 5, several of the items say ‘more than 10 lots available’.

That has to be close to $100k if not more currently listed based on retail value. Who would have this much material except an insider? Possibly a PC or RT? Seriously, who would have 700 copies of Success magazine?

If this is a PC member, how sad that they are selling the overpriced tools to the people who are loyal to them, and then allowing people in other groups to buy them at pennies on the dollar. And several of these are not that old. Some of these tools were within the past year.

That is interesting. Webelieved made a great point…. how the information changes so it’s not worth anything a few months after you buy it. What a waste! And very sneaky on the part of the PC. People just eat it up and believe they have to have the newest materials in order to “win.” What a shame.

You critics of Amway sound like a bunch of quitters. Just soft people who are not cut put to be a business owners. Success is their for the taking. I understand not all of us are cut out the be leaders. Some must resonate their personal failures through useless blogs. Give it a break people. 10.5 billion dollar corporation. Their are people who actually do make great money. I have an awesome relationship with my upline. Awesome products. And a business model that is ahead of it’s time. If you people put the same amount of energy into your Amway business as you do your pityfull blogs maybe you would have something to show.

@Nick – If you find this blog “useless,” why did you sign up for email notifications whenever new posts are published?

  7. December 13, 2011 8:47 am

LOL Nick. You could totally be s person who posted the exact same thing on Quixtar Blog 10 years ago who has long quit, you sound so much the same!

In case you hadn’t noticed, this is more of an exposure of TEAM….errr….sorry LIFE, than Amway.

You should have a read before you comment, it would help you appear less foolish.

I think its awesome! The more you can get on eBay, the more damage you do to TEAM sales! All uber-auctions is doing is lowering the value of rebranded “newer” media. If he was an insider I think he would of been caught by now (after years of doing it). Hes just making a quick buck at TEAMs expense. And as a far as having a “bad conscience” for selling this stuff to others… lets face it, they’re going to buy it anyways. Might as well get them a cd for $.10 instead of $8-7!

@Uber-Auctions (if this really is the owner of the eBay account) – If you are not on TEAM, how have you come into possession of so many TEAM tools for the past several years? Who is your supplier?

So glad you have a great relationship with your upline, glad to know that, it is totally inspiring. Perhaps you would like to disclose the following information about your business to back up your point of view.

    1. How long have you been involved?
    2. What is your current monthly PV and how is that spread out?
    3. How much is your check every month?
    4. What is your net monthly profit after all expenses?
    5. Would you be willing to prove it?

You see Nick, guys like you are a dime a dozen, not one of them can back up what they are saying by total disclosure. There is a 99.9% chance you are not even breaking even every month in Amway, are you willing to prove different? If not, why are you even here?

  12. December 13, 2011 1:10 pm

Another thing to note is that the location where the products will be shipped from is Swartz Creek, Michigan, whose city center is just 5 miles away from the TEAM headquarters in neighboring Flint.

How can Amway be a “business model ahead of its time” if it’s been around for, please other posters correct me if I’m wrong, at least 25+ years?

My advice to you Nick is to study the model, do the math, do your research, and then decide if it’s a good model vs. just taking your upline’s word for it like they need you to in order to keep that cash flowing up the line…that’s what ‘up-line’ really means…where your money flows up to.

Then who is getting this much volume of material to the auction to be sold. Somehow, someone has access to hundreds of thousands of dollars of material for pennies on the dollar. An individual could not have afforded to pay retail for several hundred thousand dollars worth of material over the past couple years and then turn around and sell it for pennies.

So how did it get from the TEAM warehouse to the uber-auction site? Uber-auction may not be affiliated with TEAM. But I’d sure like to know how the material got from Team to uber-auctions. A PC member, unloading excess tools on the side to make extra money? All PC members, forming another LLC to unload tools with last weeks logo’s on them?

It may be legitimate. It just seems like an unbelievable amount of volume to not have some connection to one or several PC members.

    Amazin’ how history repeats itself….

Replace the words “TEAM / LIFE” with “R3 Global” or “Mona Vie” or “Amway” or Quxar” and you have the e-bay listings of a couple of years ago, when me and a bunch of others un-loaded all that junk that does not work in the real world.

I still refuse to sell my collection of Amway “Tape of the Week” pile from the early 1980’s since they say pretty much the same things as the CD’s do now.
Only wish they were in 8-track. 🙂

“We are not on the team” does not specifically mean that these tools didn’t come from the team office. No one could have these many “new” items sitting on hand. I purchased thousands of dollars worth of these tools over the years, but opened them, used them, and gave them away.

I am calling B.S. on this one! This appears to be the same thing as the straw-sellers dumping Xango, Monavie, and all of the other worthless MLM products on ebay. This is probably OW cleaning out the back office and putting some extra money in his pocket.

    This stinks!

@Vato and @No Team For Me – I echo No Team’s comment. Where is uber-auctions getting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of tools for the past several years to sell on eBay? Is he buying at retail and selling for pennies on the dollar? Uh… that doesn’t make financial sense. Do all ex-TEAM members funnel their tools to uber-auctions (i.e. the underground railroad for TEAM tools)? Doubt it.

  20. December 14, 2011 12:36 pm

Nobody in their right frames of mind will buy that crap anyway, I know, I tried, and even my old fellow TEAMsters won’t buy them from me because they wanted to by directly from the business, but my upline was willing to “take them off my hands” for free. My husband put down his foot and ordered me NOT to give them to her for free simply because of how she treated me when I was trying to leave TEAM. They ended up in rubbish room in our apartment building. Bags, CDs, books, and whatever other crap that was in there. Nothing was kept.

At one time there was a ton of overstock in the Team Warehouse. Because of all the growth in the Customer Service and Events Department there was a need to change the warehouse space to office space. Thus all the overstock had to be moved to somewhere. Bill R, the warehouse and inventory manager, got an agreement with a building across the street to have pallets of material/tools/books/magazines (who else but a self-loving-self anointed-guru buys 700 copies of a magazine with his own pic/story in it?) My gut feeling is the home office, with guidance from the great an powerful Wizard of….er…..I mean Guru, is dumping these tools. Now of course these tools would have been paid for with profit sharing money, so if this is the case, is The Wiza…..I mean Guru sharing that money?

Orrin refuses to throw anything away, regardless if he has told the downlines to stop using TOD/TEAM/Monavie Branded tools…he hoards them and sells them in other ways, to other groups. He did this when the warehouse was located in Grand Blanc, when it moved to Flint, and is most likely still doing it. BUT he has others do the selling so his finger prints are not on it.

Doesn’t Tim Marks and Mark Paul have roots in Swartz Creek??

Fly – Many of the team leaders grew up around Swartz Creek and even went to high school together at Swartz Creek H.S. I don’t remember them all, but I believe they include at least one of the spouses of the following couples (there may be more, others may have better knowledge): Marks, Pauls, Hubers, Raatz’s, Darkangelo’s, Cullin’s, Gowen’s and others who I can’t remember now. I remember hearing at one point that there were something like 17 leaders who all went to the same high school there.

    Can others confirm?

Either way, the answer is a definitive yes that the team leaders have plenty of roots in Swartz Creek.

Is this another rule that Orrin has for everyone else but that he does not have to follow? People should ask them if they are unloading all their old product on the market. How fair is it to expect a LIEF customer to pay full retail for a product and then try to sell it to their customers if Orrin is secretly flooding the market with the same product for 1/10 the price? How could a LIEF member compete with that? It would be a great way to get rid of older stock but you end up screwing your team. Isn’t this why MonaVie doesn’t allow members to do the same thing? I am pretty sure its against their rules as well.

I know that Mike Gowen grew up in the city of Detroit and went to a Catholic high school there. Viola actually grew up in Saginaw, and went to High School with Bill Lewis.

I learned from the owners at Escape International which used asile19 as their shopping portal that they used to get Team system every week. The reason they stopped was because Team couldn’t ship it on time. I was also told that they were contacted by Team during the 6 month hiatous but the powers to be at Escape told them thanks but no thanks. Mr. Rutz and his group at Escape were very wise in their decision.
