Brig Hart Resigns His MonaVie Distributorship

June 27, 2013

Brig and Lita Hart are resigning as MonaVie distributors. Vemma distributor, Brian McMullen, is buying their business. He also bought Onyx Coale’s MonaVie business when she quit about six months ago.

The Harts say they want to focus on their New Life Ministry. He does mention that he will continue to drink MonaVie for life and that he remains one of the largest private distributor shareholders in the company.

It remains to be seen what will happen with Brig’s big downline groups, such as Steve and Gina Merritt. Also, will the Hart’s photo will stay up on the MonaVie Media Center Rank Recognition page now that they are no longer distributors?

Believe it, that too is one of Orrin Woodwards goals, for him to be a preacher and have “Team Churches“ in every state! Scary!!!!! Especially when you know the damage they have created in all relatioships, including the division in churches. Churches they use as easy recruiting grounds for their finacially burdensome destructive LIfE “Business.“

It’s another sign that Monavie is on its last leg.

I almost feel like Hart deserves a eulogy; not a flattering one mind you.

I’ve been going over a couple of old articles; just reading them made me feel grimy — like I needed to take a shower.

The home invasion story always sounded fishy to me — an apparent inside job. Media coverage of the event stressed how odd and unusual the circumstances (alleged) of the robbery were. I’d make a sizable wager that there no one was ever caught and there were no leads.

. I am just curious do you think Brig will give all his riches to the poor and eell all his possesions too?

Matthew 19: 16-30 came to mind.

I was just catching up on a couple of videos about Hart. They paint a picture of a dark and deeply disturbed individual. Abusive home, drug/alcohol addiction, attempted suicide, etc…

This other video was done pretty recently, and in it Hart looks like he’s taken a turn for the worse. It’ strikes me as dark, disturbing, and paranoid (not to mention extremely unprofessional).

I’m curious as to when Hart decided that he wanted to look like Jake Busey’s lunatic homicidal character from the movie Contact.

Religion + Business = Bad idea

My opinion only. No problem to believe in God, no problem to go to church. When you are considered to be a better businessman because you publicly declare your belief, that’s a sign that something doesn’t doesn’t add up on the business end.

When I hear a guy talking like this, I think it’s nice. But it doesn’t make me want to go into business with him. It makes me more wary of doing so. In my defence I’ve grown up in the Jim Baker & PTL Club frauds, so I believe my cynicism is well founded.

There has to be a line drawn, in my opinion. The two should not intertwine.

Yup, looks like Brig lost it. He actually used to sound like a smart businessman. Wonder how much Brig made in total off all his MLM businesses. It boggles the mind.

Melanie, I find it interesting your comment about Orrin wanting Team churches in every state. When I got out last year, Orrin, Chris, and Tim had all been sharing the Sunday services at the majors.

At the time it didn’t make sense that both Chris and Tim were taking seminary classes, but it does now.

If they can’t find pastors who will “go along” with their plans, the next best thing (or even better if you’re a PC) would be to have the Team leaders be pastors.

Team Island is starting to sound like a very scary place. Can you actually imagine what it would be like to live on an island that Orrin owns?

More and more like a cult every day…..

@rocket: yup, I agree, and it’s not that one shouldn’t take their solid moral/ethical/religious belief system into the conduct of their daily business practices, but when it seems that it’s the religion that’s being “sold” or used as a prop for profit, yeah, I know what you mean–especially in a business where 96% of the money floats to the top by virtue of it’s convoluted structure; and especially in a business where it’s your “fault” if you fail, i.e., so, then, of course, you’re not only NOT business savvy enough, but you’re likely not “religious enough” in a system structured to be doomed to financial failure for the bulk of the masses in the first place.

Thanks Vogel, you crack me up. I watched one of his guys promote the U.S.A. “cause”…money making for Brig venture sounds like he is letting a few people in on it,(not meant for anyone else to make $) the U.S.A. cause is only for others to ‘stand up’ for what Brig believes in (sounds like a Woodward move) but they get to pay I believe his buddy said 9.95 per month to be a ” member”. I can’t copy the youtube of this.

Funny he made the point to say it isn’t a money making opportunity for anyone, nor is it a “MlLM” or affliate program. Looks like all these guys know their self proclaimed glory days and $ in the MLM losing opportunity is over for them. Perhaps they know the truth can no longer be hidden and they see the deceit can no longer work ..they all are bailing from the industry. Do you think this could be the new motivation, they must see a dying industry and know the old way needs a new approach?! Too many secrets, the skeletons in their closets are out, the real charcters have been exsposed through out the entire industry, and they can’t hide the truth any more!

    Rascal-

Agreed and also very interesting to say the least , is Orrin’s npinion on topics which he assumes he is the all knowing, and and yet degrades what doesn’t fit his agenda but from an insider and all the evidence of fact it baffles me that they cannot see that they do much of what they preach against. It is astounding to me the things he writes that they convince people needs changing but it is those very things is how their system, gets carried out and controls the followers.

I belief he knows exactly what he is doing. He has read enough and practiced controling and using others, including our own experience with the narcissist, I won.’t be convinced otherwise. Some of the things he has studied is very evident he uses and is twisted, he is power hungry.

The followers as nothing more than pawns to be toyed with to serve him. That is what I regonize from the way he treats and treated his former “friends” everyone is just a ‘tool’ to be used as a means to his end, stroke his egoand get what he wants to fulfill his agenda.

Orrin & PC speak as if they are they think they are the authoriyty over the world, have all the wisdom, & knowledge they lord and control others as if they are the only ones in the universe can think, read and provide or find the “answers” without them.

It is one of the things that disgusted me the most, they put themselves on a God like pedestal , use reward & punishment to ensure blind, unquestioning followers and if they don’t give them undying edification, they want to dispose of them.

The most disturbing, is the people fall for this, follow and worship them without even seeing themselves and can’t see how they are being used & worshipping man!

Giving their own power to seek and think for themselves themselvesand are giving themselves away to someone who feeds off them. if they would just read the books and especially the bible (most of them claim they follow it) they would SEE what they are doing, they are blinded and can’t see themselves idolizing and worshipping, humans. Dangerous spot to be in.

They wonder why people see it as. A cult, So much fits the criteria!

Vogel, where did you find that stuff!? So many things about that post election video are disturbing. He reminds me of something out of the movie “Deliverance”. I remember when my friends were talking about one of the conferences they attended in Florida, he was up on stage blathering about how he knew he was offending people with his religious views but he wasn’t going to apologize about them. I didn’t realize how completely offensive his views were/are until now. I am not even going to go into his comments about homosexuality as they are the rantings of a mad man.

Talk about your classic regression…trying to relive his youth with the Surfer Dude hair cut. It really is very, very sad. And the mess on the table behind him makes him look even more like a lunatic. Maybe it was intentional to bring things back to a more “home grown’ feel but It reminds me of watching Charlie Sheen in his “Winning” journey into madness.

I really feel sorry for his children, they are watching him unravel and he will end up in some sort of institution eventually.

Whatever DID happen to Brig Hart? He left some time ago from what I recall.

What ever happened to residual income. You “walk away” from the business and sit on exotic beaches sipping drinks all day. Why resign when you can collect passive residual income for life?

  16. July 5, 2013 1:24 pm

Looks like a wasted opportunity to prove truth in heresiarch’s residual, pipeline yada yada yada income myth. Wait a sec. Bingo! It’s a myth! It ain’t worth anyone’s proving efforts, so he just quits but glosses it as resigning.

    @ExAmbot,

You have no idea the absolute horror I felt….well you probably do….when my upline during Monavie was talking long term residual income, and I realized, “I bet Orrin’s upline in Amway was promised the same thing.” Then Orrin left Amway, and I’m sure his upline was sitting there saying, “what the hell just happened? They told me this was a pipeline forever.”

Biggest crap line in this entire industry. No one has permanent residual income. Your downline can leave you at any time.

Claude Hamilton likes to talk about Dave Massey (the guy who came out for years to help him in Amway) and how he owes Dave a life debt. Dave was living the good life until Claude left Amway and screwed him. Don’t know where Dave is now, but he’s not making a dime off Claude. Thanks, Claude!!!

Every time someone company jumps there’s an upline that gets screwed. The only thing worse than being taken for a five year ride by Team with no revenue would be to be that guy and have it fall apart because some guy downline found a “better deal.”

    Network Marketing sucks!!!!

Shoot, I meant to say Dallin Larsen left some time ago, correct? Does anyone know what happened to that little “rip off” rascal?

I note that Brig doesn’t say “I “have” hundreds of millions of dollars, he said I have “made” hundreds of millions of dollars, and that “some” of it I have put away. There is a huge difference. He may very well have made hundreds of millions for the Mother Corporation, but that is different than having it or making it for himself. He is obviously desperate to keep the income flowing or else he wouldn’t be starting up this bizarre, religiously based “Salt Life” business.

Watch this poorly made video and he LITERALLY sounds like a bad used car salesman. It also reeks of desperation. Shudder. It is somewhat fitting that he is now peddling stuff to use on these beaches that he convinced everyone they would be retiring on. My guess is he will be wandering on them saying “iphone case…getyer iphone case here”…

Check that long list of ‘winners’ over there. The upline will be really familiar coming from nuskin, visalus, herbalife (insert soup du jour).

Orrin used to mock people who bought ranks. He also used to claim that no one could “buy” their way into a certain rank or buy a distributorship from someone else. But if these MonaVie clods are doing it, wouldn’t Team (Life Training) do it too? Does anyone know about this sort of thing happening within Team?

Another question…this one is related to the article about Brig.

I understand that MonaVie is a private company. However, I was under the impression that there are no “private shareholders” in MonaVie. I was told about 50% of the profits go to the field distributors and the other 50% goes toward operating costs. Private shareholders who are not distributors were not mentioned. So, has something changed in the past three years or was I lied to? I hope this makes sense.

Brig Hart stated in an interview that Amway did not pay distributors well, which is why he left, but yet, he was involved with the company for about 30 years. The real reason was conflict of interest by plain out greed. He joined Monavie and promoted their products making money while still pursuing royalties from Amway, which both companies fall under the same category of health and wellness. That is like working at Walmart and promoting Target or Kmart merchandise working there too. Amway had the right to sue him for this and they won. Now he is leaving Monavie to follow his “call of ministry” which will result in recruiting people for another mlm company in the future. If you are bouncing around from one company to the next, its a personal problem, not a company issue, bottom line.
There have been other top leaders in Amway who have done the same thing and have been through 2-3 mlm companies since Amway. I know this for a fact because I personally met an individual who was a diamond in Amway. He left to join Xango and at the same time abused his wife and had an affair with another while being married. Amway sued him because he promoted Xango products all over the internet. To make a long story short, his wife received his Amway business in the divorce, his home was put up for sale, he left Xango, and is now in a company called True Starr living in Salt Lake City, Utah. PURE GREED!!!!

Jacob, “Mr Big Fart” did not just “Quit Amway” because the they were not paying him well, there was a nasty law suit over the “Tool and Ticket” side of the biz which is where the top rank folks really make the MLM money, in a nut shell he sued Amway and several of the top folks at the time and settled for an”undisclosed amount”, then Amway basically kicked him out for being a pain in the ass, not too soon after that he was in with MV.

MonaVie is continuing to implode. Just heard that Mike & Sahi Hernandez are leaving them to join a new mlm. Their facebook page has a video announcing that they are about to launch a new mlm. And their page has several pics with Mick Karshner.

Mike & Sahi were the single most exciting new couple in MonaVie 2 years ago. Their story as the newest Black Diamonds at the Dallas National event was the highlight of the weekend. A couple who went from dumpster diving to Black Diamonds in a very short period (possibly 2 years or less).

And now they are leaving too. That will be a big blow to MonaVie’ers since they were one of the only couple in the past few years to have success (who did not have a life history in the industry).

Lots of people come and go in the Network Marketing Industry. Lots of people made lots of money in Monavie and other MLM companies. ALL companies have their good and bad times. I’ve seen a couple of companies have HUGE surges and then fall back, only to recover in a very big way. A business cannot be built with one person or one personality. Monavie made the right move by bringing in Mauricio Bellora as the new CEO. He led Natura, which is based in Brazil, to huge success. He is doing the same for Monavie. My husband and I have had continual growth with Monavie and are thankful for the products they brought to market, and for the ones that are coming. Monavie is not dead, neither are the integrity filled leaders who are there. Time rids every company of the scaly people that arrive… The great thing about network marketing? Anyone can do it. The bad thing about network marketing? Anyone can do it. I hope if you are reading this you’ll find a company that works for your needs. You don’t need to slam other companies or try and recruit from within other companies. Make sure your product line can stand the test of time.

Jane, I know you think you’re getting over on everyone with your blanket cliches & wishy-washy generalizations about MLMs. You posture as the Real McCoy but in a forest of truth, you sound like a fraud, a plant. A fake, thrift store clearance-aisle-made-out-of-pipe-cleaners-and-feather-dusters plant. Nobody’s fooled.

Monavie will stand the test of time? You mean the juice that court testimony from the “leaders” was exposed as phony? The juice that supposedly cures everything but was admitted in a court of law as to having no benefits whatsoever?

At least the makers of the Pet Rock went along with the gag. With MV, the joke’s on you & you’re too filled with greed to see the victims before you who, at first shuck and jived, but ultimately ended up crying all the way to the cleaners. You’re either on your way there or you’re one of the few who own the cleaners.

If you’re the latter, how does it feel to take people’s hard earned money, valuable time while promising them a Ralph Lauren suit & knowingly hand them back a knockoff-Made-in-Bangladesh Member’s Only jacket? And then telling them & their friends how good it looks? Those people are the scummiest of the scum-sucking MLM leeches, I hope that you’re just new & naive.

The good thing about a site where people can share their bad MLM experiences & warn others? MLM wannabes suck & should find legitimate work.

The bad news? You just realized my entire point with this catchy fluff phrase turned non-sequitur was to say MLM wannabes suck & should find legitimate work twice.

So seriously, go find work that only ruins you & not others.
