Claude Hamilton, AKA Mr. Profitability on the LIFE TEAM
Earlier today, Orrin Woodward wrote about Policy Council members Claude and Lana Hamilton. After seven paragraphs of “coercifiying” this Canadian couple, Orrin has this to say:
On another note, on top of leading one of the fastest growing teams with the TEAM, Claude also volunteered to be the PC leader over the TEAM events department. In this role, he has greatly improved the quality and profitability of the opens, seminars, and major functions. I cannot imagine the TEAM’s turnaround without the endless hours sacrificially invested by Claude for the benefit of us all.
You mean TEAM actually makes money on opens, seminars, and major functions? Is there any doubt left in anyone’s mind why LIFE TEAM so heavily encourages attendance at the weekly, monthly, and quarterly events?
Where does this money go? To whom does it go? Back to TEAM corporate or in the pockets of the profit-sharers and kingpin leaders?

Seems like OW made a Freudian slip (also called parapraxis, is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is interpreted as occurring due to the interference of some unconscious (“dynamically repressed”), subdued, wish, conflict, or train of thought) in his effort to make a nice compliment to one of his followers. I assume he did and does not want to show his real business goals; making a lot of money with his opens, seminars and tools.
Weren’t these events paid in cash by members without getting a receipt? If so, it seems clear where the money is going 🙂 Apparently it’s going to one of the many businesses where only one person (read OW) has insight in the finances and can draw the conclusion that the opens and seminars are profitable.
It goes to the Team office for team. You must have your ducks in a row, before u send it in to the team office. They get bent out of shap very quickly if u mess up. And not only that you also have a time table to meet…if you don’t keep their timetable…they take it out of your check.
“me” You have been misinformed…you very clearly have not been to a meeting. You get a reciept for the opens & everything between…i used to get them all the time…i.then took it off my taxes as a expense.

It does not necessarily mean that I have been misinformed. I have been invited once to a meeting, and I did not see the person, who invited me and paid, get a receipt, although it was (I think) 20 dollars. Have you been to every single seminar or meeting in the US to confirm that a receipt was always written? Were you allowed to pay with a check or credit card?

Attendees get a TEAM receipt when attending open meetings and super opens and seminar and major ticket stubs act as receipts. Usually, the team member gets there early, pays, gets their receipt, and waits for the new guy. I had the same question when I attended my first meeting.
Did the prices raise since 2009? I’m curious. I do know about the new guy having to pay for his way in, though.
Seems like Hamilton put on a lot of weight, musta been eating all his victims’ dollar bills. I wanna leave Halifax 😦

$5 opens, $10 super opens, $35 seminars ($40 at the door), $125 majors
They raised the major’s by 35 bucks a person, it use to be $90 per person? I thought they were into dropping the prices, providing the ‘lowest prices’.. since they have so much ‘growth’? 4000 new LIE.f.ers in one month; according to Orrin…that justifies raising the prices? Ah Claude! He’s the guy who tells tales of finding hubcaps to sell to pay for his tools because he was so broke. He talks about his buying of extra pots and pans to make a rank. He talks about a mountain of juice in his basement to be in the 300 Club when the MV P&P says you have to get rid of 70% of what you bought before you order again. He talks about sucking all the energy out of a room to help a prospect change his mind.
Claude is a dynamic speaker at opens and seminars. He’s fun. But he puts his foot in his mouth and the recordings get sent down through the system. A ticket holder in the spring of 2011 came down as a CD called Don’t Do This!. It was a rambling waste that had me fuming when I sat through it but it was enlightening when I listened at home.
The major I went to before he was in the events department and the two since didn’t seem much different. Maybe a little less cerebral and a little more rock n roll. But the price went up $35. I noticed that the $70 bucks could have bought more tools….. hehehe
Hmm, so the majors went up and the other events stayed the same prices. Not enough people going to the majors 😉
Ya right, Hamilton didn’t collect no hubcaps to pay for no freaking tools. Wasn’t he in the amway business as well?

WE \, you are right on, that is just the resigning of old downlines into Lief. Our former up line was being bragged about from stage by his PC on how many people he sponsored, yet all he did was re register people that were already in. These guy’s know no shame in how they lie when they promote and worse yet is that after all these years in MLM that can’t even sponsor new people…they have to re register old peeps in order to talk about something LOL
Webelieved and Finally..I agree…more deception at it’s finest. But guess what they are at the end of their rope no more MLM’s to ‘re-register’ the same ole people and claim epic growth, that has always been more hype up lies than anything close to the truth.
Now it is down hill for them, because…the attrition rates won’t be any different or change, their comp plan is obviously stacked against 99% so they obviously will stuggle with sponsoring people and selling them on the ‘dream’ and ‘you to can be a millionaire too BS!
There is just too much truth that contradicts their lies, deception, and farce of a ‘business opprotunity’..it is the farthest thing or even remotely close to a good desirable ‘buisness opportunity’ and the world knows it! It is only deception that makes it work, hence the horrendous attrition rates. It appears even some reporters and newspapers are catching on in a big way and won’t be long it will spread throughout many media sources and then it will be exposed and less and less will fall for the scam! 🙂
I agree Speak!! Now is not the time in America to be taking advantage of people financially. Not there is ever a good time but the state of the economy make it even worse. They tried to take a failed business model mainstream under the guise of giving people what they can’t get anywhere else…..the truth. The only problem is they talk in truth and principle from stage but their actions are anything but. Orrin has raped the team and they all look at him like the savior. When he shifted everyone to MV our up line was telling us how Orrin did it for us so we would have an income……..what a crock. It was so he could line his pockets after the lawsuit with Q didn’t go as the master planned it would,
You are also dead on about the attrition rate with the new lief program. They have no where to go. I mean even with Q/Amway it was easier to sell as a business because they had real products and you could buy them. They were over priced, something Orrin claimed he had no idea of until 2007….really, Orrin and Chris the business gurus extraordinaire had no idea we all were being raked over the coals on pricing??? Yet they promoted and promoted and promoted the products and lied about their product income making us believe we would one day get there if we just bought more tools. The largest product check tim marks ever got was for 14K in a month yet i have a friend that he showed an 80 grand bonus check from Q, passing it off as a monthly check. U wonder if when he is on his 4th floor praying in his prayer room he realizes and repents for misleading so many……..
I know of so many stories from so many teams that it is sick. I am refraining from telling all of my up lines stories because then I might be found out. I have, as I said before, that I have be friended a few of the liberators and the Martins are just as guilty as the PC. The lies are numerous and the narcissism is just as bad as with the top guys. The worst part is I hear they left Michigan because of all the lies to the people that lived near them. their whole block knows the truth and now that most have quit they are comparing notes and the stories are sickening………I am sure you all have the same stories but these are the ones I am hearing. In fact a few of us are meeting here soon. Some have been seriously mislead and hurt and need to know it is not them that did anything wrong.

So sad but true. These guys have know for YEARS and YEARS, (but kept it to their greedy little selves) that there wasn’t a chance for anyone to ‘make’ it or nearly impossible. I had even questioned the products and got the ‘cult performance’ one-liner back then years later they sue for an ‘illegal pyramid with hoplessly over-priced products” Hmm huh..yep that’s leadership for ya. They have always know the attrition rates, the churning process, but yet continued and continue to LIE threw their teeth and give others false hope because of their twisted greedy messed up thinking. They actually have the audacity to justify it with… we know that no one will make it but ‘look at all those, who we help?’ WTF..This is insanity.
Yes, the ends justify the means to them..And it shows in how low they have stooped to create nothing but an illusion that Dan and Lisa Hawkins (whom now it seems were welfared 3 teams) along with the others and the PC. This is the most deceptive LIE they are telling others to get them to ‘believe’ and keep on keepin on with the modern day slavery…that it is ‘possible’ but FAIL (deceive) them into ‘believing’ if they just ‘do what the Hawkins and other PC have done’ they will have what they have!
They KNOW and have known the numbers are stacked against everyone and it doesn’t work unless they are cheating and gaming the system in some way…buying your pins, giving others teams they didn’t earn..then ‘claiming’ they are genius and have figured it out with ‘team approach’ that Orrin did NOT come up with.
They figured it out alright on how to deceive and create the false illusional picture for the unsuspecting and ignorant that fall for their LIES in the controlled cult enviroment. Where they are continually bombarded with the messages of ‘look’ at these people (Hawkins) they pulled the ‘banister effect’ what an insult to those who bust their butts trying to get it done, believing it is some ‘secret’ at the next major…some book they haven’t read, some mentoring session they haven’t been to and on and on. What out and out lies..not even close!
I know what you mean about the experiences of others being horrific. I too spoke with some big cross-line leaders and know of some that I personally watch them abuse and it is pathetic the way they have treated others. It is no wonder it is the #1 rule..”No Cross-lining”..it is the ONLY way they can try and ‘hide’ the truth from others!!! It truly is a travesty and they will reap what they have sown…including what they have done to true believers and their churches!
So never does using deception justify the ends… so you can then say you brought people to Christ, or you have helped them ‘better themselves’, ‘give them hope’ or any other thing you can deceive yourself and others with.
What is it to gain the whole world… but lose your soul.
One last thing I have never read in the bible that Jesus used deception to bring anyone to himself or the Father nor have I ever read where he used ‘making money’, ‘becoming a wealthy millionaire… to do the same!

Cross lining was a big big thing with them for the exact reason you say……”The Truth” We always thought our team sucked because we alway heard how cross line was “exploding”. Then we come to find out they weren’t growing either, in fact many times we were growing faster. It was all part of the sick game they play pitting one team against another…….That’s real Christ like………..Yeah from what I know, Tim’s system checks were wayyyy bigger but he sold his soul to get them so more power to him and Orrin. They are as bad and worse than the corporate leaders they bash every chance they get. To me the wives are even worse because they claim to be so Holy and “Christian” holding their bible studies and all yet they live the lie just like the husbands.
Someone might know, because I do not, but doesn’t the fact that they are possible doing illegal things and lying to people to profit fall under RACKETEERING ??? If a smart prosecutor wanted to make the case I am sure they could and if they could I am also certain their income and lifestyle would fall prey to the RICCO statute. I mean they are corroborating to constantly keep people on system the profit from them, lying about incomes to coerce them, and fudging ranks to get people to keep buying tools to continue their profit………..to me this seems like it should be handled the way organized crime is. It is in fact exactly what it is…………..I think if we all use our personal contacts, aka our List LOL we could find someone somewhere willing to look into the possibility that this is what is going on. It is an election year coming up and this is the kind of headline that makes news. Protecting Americans from the scam artist that they are. I will do my part 🙂

I believe you are right and had to chuckle at ‘our list’. I would love more than anything for a FULL investigation too. To settle this once and for all and would be interesting if the points you brought up could be. Either what we say and experienced mixed with some common sense..is truth, or they have done nothing wrong and that would be revealed in the Full investigation and disclosure. Both sides cannot be telling the truth, there are way too many differences and inconsistencies to mention.
And when it is all said and done…we will see; perhaps American Greed would cover the story! 🙂
Speak I spoke with a professional today who is intimately familiar with Team and their tactics. He is a legal professional and believes there are many lawsuits to be had. Especially in the cases where people were voted out or had their teams taken away. People like the Morgan’s and many others like the Mike and Kristi Raatz have legal claims we believe. I also have some friends in a prosecutors office and some other resources that I am looking into. They have hurt and taken income from people and done so possibly illegally and forcefully. I believe they have done the exact thing the guy that sued Q for and won. They forced people to sign an agreement to profit sharing without giving them an opportunity to read and go over it. I believe that is duress, the pressure of losing income and teams if they do not sign. They advertised it as “passive residual income” every Tuesday and at every seminar and there are thousands of recordings and proof of how they have deceived and misled people. The proof is how they have taken incomes away from people that have left jobs and are left with no income as a direct result from their actions.
I hope and pray that people that have lost income seek advice as to how to get reimbursed for their losses. They have done heinous and possibly illegal things. Again there are many people that may have claims and there is someone out there willing to take up their cause.
They constantly talk from stage because the profess to be leaders they are under attack. The truth is they are under attack because they lie, cheat and steal. They give illegal financial advice and marital advice and many have suffered from their misguided advice. They are the worse kind of leaders, they are liars………..In fact they are not even leaders they are pitch men and from what I hear not even very good at that lately……….
I know this Claude, he’s a lying, cheating, self esteem bashing bag of pus. I’ve seen marriages fail because of his so called loyalty, I’ve seen people lose their businesses and sell everything they own to fail. If you don’t go to the open meetings or spend your life savings to go to the majors he will ridicule you in front of people and talk trash behind your back even to your downline. WOW! A lot of you people have no idea what you’re talking about! LIFE is a godsend! Claude Hamilton is one of the most genuine and awesome guys I know! He is helping a lot of people get results in their lives including myself and a lot of my close friends! Maybe you “quitters” and all you lazy good for nothing bums that are looking for a hand out should get off the couch, put the TV remote down and go see how hard it is to make a difference in the world! And why are most of you anonymous? scared? of what? Some people dedicate their lives to helping others and they don’t need misinformed, uneducated blabbering morons such as yourself speaking bull spit out of their behinds!

Those on here with experience who also have a different opinion of what LIFE offered them, also have proof to back up what they say. What you back yourself up with is just more hot air. When you inflate a balloon with too much air, it bursts/pops/explodes. LIFE is eventually going to burst/pop/explode when too much of that hot goes into its sham of a “business” from all the people like you and the LIEF gurus (that word is such a joke) who pump their hot air into it.
