Popular Search Terms of the Week

August 9, 2011

Here are a list of popular search terms on my site from the past week:

  • living intentionally for excellence
  • orrin woodward legitimate or full of shit
  • is living intentionally for excellence a scam?
  • onyx coale divorce
  • leaves monavie for visalus
  • orrin woodward scam
  • why is monavie so expensive

living intentionally for excellence

This search term has increased in recent days. Looks like TEAM members are out proselytizing the word of Orrin Woodward and the Policy Council about the new MLM LIFE business that’s launching on 11/1/11.

If you do a search on living intentionally for excellence, this website comes up among the top matches and points to a post about the costs involved with going all-in with TEAM/LIFE. People will quickly learn that to “succeed” in LIFE, they are going to have to spend hundreds of dollars a month. TEAM members will counter by saying, “How many businesses do you know that have such low overhead?” To them I simply ask, “How much money did you make last month? Subtract your expenses from that number. Is the resulting number negative or positive. For the majority of TEAM members, the answer is the former. Case closed.

is living intentionally for excellence a scam?

Great! People have working brains! They can see that LIFE might be a scam that serves only to inflate Orrin’s ego and wallet. In my opinion, they are correct. TEAM/LIFE is a bad business opportunity and not worth someone’s time, money, and effort. If one wanted to better one’s life in the 8F’s, one can do so by making use of the F that Orrin doesn’t want you to know: FREE. There are plenty of free resources available to aid you in your finances, faith, etc.

orrin woodward legitimate or full of shit

TEAM members would like you to believe that Orrin is a Top 7, 10, 25, 30 Leadership Guru, but in reality he’s been full of it for several years now. Think about it… right up to the month he got terminated from Amway/Quixtar, Orrin was probably telling people that Amway/Quixtar was the best business in the world. His tune changed quickly to, “Amway/Quixtar is an illegal pyramid scheme!”

If you read and listen to Ex-TEAM members, you’ll understand that Orrin has double-crossed and cheated dozens, perhaps hundreds of people, out of their System income. And he’ll do it with a smile on his face and a pat on your back.

orrin woodward scam

I won’t belabor the point. I feel that Orrin Woodward is perpetuating a financial scam on thousands of people. Read the posts on this blog and come to your own conclusions. Unlike Orrin, I encourage you to see both sides of the story. Read the TEAM blogs, visit TEAM members’ websites and decide for yourself.

onyx coale divorce

Onyx Coale is a MonaVie Black Diamond who used to be married to Robert Addie. Robert is nowhere to be found now. This is similar to Maria Carreon, another Black Diamond who used to appear hand-in-hand with her partner/husband on from the MLM stages.

Why is this important? One of the falsehoods that MLMs and their training systems would have you believe is that through building the business, your marriage will become stronger and better than ever before! There’s ample evidence, however, that this is not the case.

leaves monavie for visalus

When the going gets tough, MLM leaders go to another MLM business! Former MonaVie Black Diamond, Rick Gutman, recently left for “greener pastures” at Visalus. He joined within months following the departure of another former Black Diamond, Robert Dean, from Visalus. Dean, you will know, went from Tahitian Noni to MonaVie to Evolv to Visalus Distributor to LIMU within the span of a few years. Musical MLM Chairs!

why is monavie so expensive

You think $40 bottle for juice concentrate is expensive? You’re absolutely right, it is! Someone has to pay for those Black Diamond Mercedes and those MonaVie Jet Credits, after all!

Good Post. Orrin Woodward doesn’t seem to have a history of ensuring the success of his acolytes.

It should be crystal clear to anyone who looks objectively at the facts what is going on, Woodward is profiting at the expense of others by selling a lie.

I know people personally who were all in to TEAM and after many years of little to no progress got out.

When they were not listening to constant CD’s & books, they saw the reality, and it doesn’t sit well.

Deception appears to be a bona fide strategy by the leaders in LI(F)E

Still having trouble with the language, or is it the keyboard? Please try to stay away as you promised you would. Its amazing how people who get involved with team don’t follow through on what they say they are going to do.

“and grown your e-peen and elitist freaks” -Lyk

I don’t know what to say to that. Are you calling us e-peens? Can any of the 8 F’s help you with your spelling and name calling problem?

Lyk. It is extremely frustrating, isn’t it? Reading about potential new “recruits” that are coming on this site and researching TEAM & MonaVIe, discovering the truth about how they are both scams, and sharing this with us. For us it is exhilarating because we realize that our blogging is not all for naught. That we are actually, through the Amthrax, Juice Scam, , Lazy Man & other anti-MLM/scam sites, making a difference in the lives of people by allowing them to KEEP their hard earned cash, to salvage their marriages and relationships with their friends and family. This is an honor & privilege that NONE of us take lightly.

If you are here to champion the TEAM & MonaVie cause, let me tell you that you are NOT helping them one iota. Coming on here and name calling (although I am not sure that I am insulted with the names, since I don’t know what the hell you are talking about) is not the way to do it. In fact, there is probably no way to do it since you can’t fight the truth.

I really do feel nothing but pity for you because you will find out that all of these things you are being told by these people on this site, are true. We don’t have to convince you, that is not what we are here for. You will go and let them take your money, your friends and maybe even your family without questioning ANYTHING. You have already abandoned all common sense and critical thinking skills. It is too late for you. We are here to stop others from getting hurt BEFORE they become involved and to give a voice to those who have been devastated by TEAM and MonaVie. If that makes us elitist…so be it…guilty as charged.

Wow. I thought TEAM was to not talk negative…that is unless you dont like TEAM. Way to go, nice double standard. I am hearing ALOT of negative talk for TEAM. Interesting.

Here is why Monavie is so expensive. Look at Orrins and Dallins houses…the TEAM is paying for them.

    Athrax-
I actually do feel sorry for lyk and other believers in Team, who seem to not be able to think clearly. I believe they are under a thought reform program and do not even know it. They have become dependent on the thinking of others, mainly thier upline and the system. “You can’t take your crappy self into a bright new future” I heard many times. Really they wan’t you to think you are a crappy self so you can become dependent on them, copy everything they say, and put them in a position of authority over your whole life.
Most people have no clue about cults or how destructive groups work, I didn’t. It was very hard to consider Team may be a cult. However, recently I have been studying destructive groups and it has been very enlightening to say the least, If you don’t mind, I would like to write some posts on what I am learning to help people understand what can happen as a result of being involved with a destructive group. I will share what my experience was with Team/ Orrin and what the experts say about the subject, and others can make thier own decisions. I hope I will hear some feedback on the subject. I know for our family, involvement with Team was very destructive.

Exactly, I have personally seen the control they have over people, plus all the evidence is in the CDS. I think TEAm preys on weak gullible people, selling teh dream and not facts or verifiable proof. At first I was hesitant to call what team does brainwashing, but I am ex military and studied brainwashing and coersion and it is very clear that TEAM practices it. Whats more terrifying is TEAM has a charismatic leader who deamnds your loyatly and that you not citicize him or the TEAM. Add a mysterious purple juice and “tools” and it is eerily similar to Jim Jones.

Not signed yet- great post! One thing I am learning is people do not sign up for cults. They sign up for a community of like minded people with great ideals. Like changing the country, making a difference, getting their time back, having their own business. Funny that is what we were promised but that is not what we got in Team. Cults usually recruit smart, hard working, good people. Anyone that doesn’t have those qualities, couldn’t work as hard, and last as long in a group. Cults decieve people in the recruiting.
In our experience with Team, Quixtar/Amway was not mentioned in the plans or the Opens intentionally and later when I became a speaker it was made clear this deception came from the top. We were told we sold nothing!
Also, Cult experts say when you are confused, (in example because of circular talk, ie redirecting your questions, or not answering directly, etc.) you can be indoctrinated with the group think. In team what was used was cd’s, seminars, opens, group pressure, long and lengthy lectures, sleep deprivation, and I believe now, ericksonian trances where you have no idea it happened.
It has been proven by cult experts when you are in a confused state you are more suseptible to suggestibility. And you are right their is no room for debate or room for your opinion in a cult. Only follow what the leader wants you to believe. Sounds very familiar to me. Loyalty is most important and you are to give up who you are for the group objectives.

You also will have no boundaries in the group, people will love bomb you and you will feel you have new best friends instantly, exactly opposite of the real world where trust is earned over time. Sounds familar as well. In my experience these so called friends were reporting back in on me to my upline. This also happens in cults. By the way these so called friends are no where to be found now that I am out of the group. In fact some have slandered us, based on info thier upline gave them, not the truth.

Another thing that happens in destructive groups is the psychology of favors. Someone does something for you and you feel you owe them. Once you make a small commitment back you have to justify it. At first you get a lot of favors for very little, after a while the favors get a lot smaller and you have to work much harder for small favors that you got in the begining for hardly nothing. To work you go. If you made a commitment publically you have to justify it more, even if it is to your own detriment. So sad. For us many favors could qualify, edification, our upline doing meetings for us, borrowing us cds, materials. Speaking engagements, etc. Mentoring with Orrin or someone else you respected. Maybe it is promotions? What do you all think? Once you get those things you have to keep going. And once you are in a while it is much harder to earn those things. The expectations go up. And you are in the cycle…. favor, commitment, justify, favor, bigger commitment, justify.

Destructive groups also use what is called confession. In my experience mentoring would fall in this category. We would go and tell our upline all our personal problems thoughts, etc and he/she would help us get our “stinking thinking” right. No boundaries, no earned trust. This makes you regress backwards and not trust your own thinking. In our case it seems there is no confidentiality in team. Your private info can and in some cases is shared with others.

In my experience the higher you go in Team, the closer you get to Orrin and PC, the more you have to conform and give up yourself. And you sure better NEVER question the leaders, or else. Even if what you question is legitimate, you will be destroyed. FOLLOW THE LEADER, even if he is wrong, lies, cheats and then goes on stage and teaches followers about integrity and God.
In my opinion, they took the best of us and used it against us.
These are all my personal opinions and experiences.
And there is so much more.

We could definately talk about mileu control- information control. LOL. Maybe tommarrow.
A healty group allows disention, debate, you to keep your personality, you to have boundaries, you to say no, they value others opinions, they tell you the truth, all of it, good bad and ugly, they don’t expect you to only be positive, and they do not hide things, and they don’t slander you when you decide the group is no longer for you. They stand on the truth. And when they screw up they admit it, repent, fix it and change. They do not victimize and then blame the victim.

Right on believed! You’ve explained why it actually got harder and harder for us to “buy in” to everything as we moved up. We moved up SLOWLY because of it. Got passed quite a bit too. THANK YOU GOD!!! If we would have had more success sooner we may not have held on to our critical thinking skills. He had other plans for us and for that we will be eternally grateful!
I personally struggle with trying to keep my faith at the forefront when it comes to discussing all things Team. Everything associated with it makes me angry to my carnal self’s core. Such a waste on so many levels. My reactions sometimes reflect that. Oops.
Righteous anger? I think so. Properly expressed? Probably not. Oh well.
This blight on society called Team needs to be eradicated from the planet. Lets keep doing what we’re doing (hee hee)!

Definition of a Cult- A group or movement exhibiting a great or ecessive devotion or dedication to some person, idea, or thing and employing unethical manipulative techniques of persuasion and control ( e.g. isolation from former friends and family, debilitation, use of special methods to heighten suggestibility and subservience, powerful group pressures, information management, suspension of individualality or critical judgment, promotion of total dependency on the group and fear of leaving it,, etc.) designed to advance the goals of the group’s leaders to the actual or possible detriment of members, their families, or the community.

Quit- isn’t it funny how we were being forced to change who we were at the core, and yet knew that God made us perfect the way he wanted us to be, with talents, abilities and personalities unique. Not that we couldn’t always be a bit better version of our authentic selves, but to change it all for Team, was giving God the finger! As if Orrin and Co know more then the creator of the world Himself? LOL what was I thinking believing this crap! I am happy to know, It seems you kept a bit of your authentic self through the Team experience, and that saved you! Woohooo!
